NB: The anthem was approved by the Governing Council of the NSA on March 25, 1998, during a meeting held at the Federal Office of Statistics (FOS), Lagos, with Mr. O. O. Ajayi as President. The maiden rendition was conducted by Prof. R. C. Okafor, at the opening ceremony of the 22nd Annual Conference of the NSA, held at the National Assembly Complex, Minna, Niger State, from 22nd – 25th September, 1998.
