Mr Ijomone was born on the 10th day of October 1958 to the Christian Ijomone family of Ovwodokpokpo-Olomu in Ughelli South, Delta State, Nigeria. He started his basic education at the L.A primary school at Ovwodokpokpo-Olomu between 1963 to 1966 when he left for CMS primary school at Okpare-Olomu where he finished in 1969. He then proceeded for the ESSI College Warri between 1971. He also attended the Federal Office of Statistics Training School, Ibadan from 1978 to 1980. With his time in Ibadan he obtained a General Certificate of Education (GCE OLevel) and Statistical Assistant Certificate (FOSTS) in 1979 and 1980 respectively and got registered as a Statistical Assistant in the Institute of Statisticians.
Not yet satisfied with his level of education he proceeded to University of Ibadan and obtained a Diploma in Professional Statistics (PDS-UI) in 1982.He got his Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1998, a Post graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in 1999 . Still not done, he went on to get a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university between 1999 – 2001.
Mr. Ijomone Okpako Bulles is presently the Chief Statistician Ministry of Economic Planning and the Zonal Officer in charge of Statistical Operations in Warri Zone Delta State.
Mr. Ijomone is a Patron of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria, 3rd Effurun Command. He enjoys his spare time Reading, Listening to Radio and watching Television programmes.
