ADENUGA, is a staff in the Research Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. Combined Honours degree in (Mathematics/Statistics), Masters of Public Administration (MPA) and Masters of Science in Economics (M.Sc. Economics). He bagged Professor C. O. Taiwo’s Prize for being the Best Graduating Student in the Mathematics Department of University of Lagos (1987/88).
He attended local and international courses in macroeconomic policy analysis and management; sectoral specialization course on industrial development in Africa; econometric modeling; financial programming and policy; recent developments in research, data management, modeling and policy analysis, monetary and development economics as well as computer applications. He participated in conferences, workshops, seminars and the Spring Meetings of the IMF/World Bank, G-24, Washington D. C., April, 2001; Capital Market Developments and Regulation, International Law Institute, Washington D. C., October, 2001; African Working Party of the IMF, Kampala, Uganda, August, 2002; the Africa Group I Constituency Meeting, Pretoria, South Africa, May, 2003, ECOWAS macroeconomic common statistics database for multilateral surveillance (ECOMAC), Lome, Togo, among others.
ADENUGA had published about thirty five referred articles in both local and international journals and collaborated on not less than six research projects with the Federal Government of Nigeria agencies and research institutes in Nigeria. He is a life member of the Nigerian Statistical Association and the Nigerian Economic Society. He enjoys reading, football, music, social work and community development. He is happily married with children.
